In tonight’s Lancashire Evening Post, Lancashire County Council and BT have jointly announced the latest parts of the county to benefit will be Preston, Hoghton, Brinscall, Fylde, Weeton, Rufford, Turton, Padiham, Burnley and Appley Bridge, whilst a further two communities where work started earlier – Coppull and Whalley – are mostly completed already.
Just last week in our article BT fibre Roll out we mentioned how it was going to be a struggle in some parts of the country to get super-fast broadband to some areas, but here in Lancashire it seems that BT and Lancashire County Council partnership is working a dream for Lancashire homes and businesses. Lets hope we can get some of our other towns and villages like Chipping on the fibre very soon.
